A new mosquito control franchise called Mosquito Squad of the Triad has opened in Winston-Salem.

The franchise is owned by Hugh Jones.

Jones said he expanded his Mosquito Squad of Greensboro location to service the rest of the Triad area including Winston-Salem and High Point.

Mosquito Squad mosquito control is North America's fastest growing outdoor living concept franchise, according to a press release.

Mosquito Squad mosquito control claims to offer affordable, dependable and effective protection against mosquitoes and the diseases they can carry.

The service will serve the central North Carolina from Graham to Lewisville, from Eden to Asheboro and points between, the press release stated.

Services they offer include 21-day Barrier Spray, which kills on contact and continues for three weeks and 14-day All-Natural Spray, which kills adult mosquitoes on contact and has a two-week repellent effect.
